The village of Jordans has been home to Quakers since the 17th century, and the tradition is strongly upheld today.  The Meetings for Worship reach out to all ages.

The Chilterns boasts seven Quaker Meeting Houses.

Back to Church Sunday.

A lively website for a lively  diocese, it is a useful who’s who (of really helpful people!), a comprehensive events listing, and is packed with up to date national and international articles.  We also like Bishop Alan’s blog.

An informative website, not only about the intricacies of running an enormous national organisation, but also about the daily detail of personal faith.  We like the Act of Kindness Generator.

Mark 30th September 2012 in your diary.

Find details of our beautiful, historic village.  Once home to John Milton, who composed part of Paradise Lost here, and Oliver Cromwell’s army, you can still see the bullet holes where they used the church tower for target practise.

A growing website which offers a useful listings service.

The Rock.

Quakers.

The Rock is an independent church with a very relaxed, inclusive approach to worship.

The Deanway United Church unites Methodist and United Reformed worshipers, and has a full social as well as religious calendar.

We are proud to have as our near neighbours a diverse selection of churches.
