The Reading Room, just across the road from the church, is a Grade 2 listed building.  It includes a large hall, kitchen and toilet facilities, and a garden.  (While the site is accessible for the disabled, the toilet facilities are not.)  Seating 40, it is ideal for post-christening celebrations, small weddings and wakes, and is also available for general hire.

Standard Charge   £7.50 per hour,  min. £12.00

Charity hire             £4.00 per hour,  min. £8.00

Commercial rate    £10.00 per hour,  min. £20 (or £80 per day)

A deposit of £25 is refundable where no loss or damage has occurred.  There is a small additional charge for use of the kitchen, and while the use of crockery, cutlery, tables and chairs is included, formal ware is available for hire.

There is also a permanent audio/video installation with overhead video projector and audio amplification system with the capacity to play CDs, DVDs and VHS tapes.
It also has VGA and stereo mini-jack connections for your own laptop (PC or Mac)
to permit presentations.   The rates for this facility are
