Children

For nought to three year olds, there is a crèche in the vestry.

For rising-fours to ten year olds, the Sunday Club offers a varied programme of teaching, including music, crafts and quizzes.

All teaching is based on the Scripture Union, and the sessions are run by congregation parents.

The Club and crèche run every Sunday apart from the 2nd Sunday in the month, when we all join in the Family Service in church.

Young people of senior school age and rising meet during term time on Fridays, at a local venue.  These sessions help our lively young people to explore faith through inquiry and discussion in a relaxed atmosphere.  With biscuits.

Our children also maintain a strong presence in the church choir.  Run by Cathy Langdale, our talented, kind and very patient choir mistress, the children attend weekly  choir practice, and sing, robed, twice a month.  

The children have their own window in church to decorate - this particular week we studied Elijah, and made a collage of the stone altar running with water, yet still burning fiercely.
